Sugarfoot Stomp Tenth Anniversary Party. 19th September. The Spotted Dog Birmingham.

Sugarfoot Stomp will be celebrating its tenth year of bringing you music, mischief and more from the 1920s to the 1960s.

This event will be extra special as we will be partaking in the Scalarama Film Festival so our visuals man; Film Ficciones will get to stretch out and have his own room showing a selection of rare 16 mm films while we get everyone fuzzy in the outdoors beer garden. We are also happy to welcome Charters and Caldicott who will be playing rare 78 records on the pub's very own gramophones.

The pub is situated at 104 Warwick Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B12 0NH and the event will go on from 8 until late.

Not to be missed!

Greetings!

We will be getting Digbeth's Spotted Dog (one of our favourite juice joints) a-jumpin after Random Acts Party for this year's Flatpack Film Festival. This is truly exciting because we all adore this festival.

Here's the link to the event and if you haven't checked it out (you really ought to!) the festival website:

Madame Moonshine's 1920s Speakeasy

Hello all!

So last month we had the honour of doing our thing at the hottest new night in town; Madame Moonshine's Speakeasy.

We were truly spoilt by the dancing girls who made our set go off with a bang, not to mention the many splendid things that kept us entertained such as fantastic live music and Colonel Swing spinning delectable tracks. Sassy singers The Glamophones lead us by the hands into the gin-fuelled night ahead and we had a grand time larking about in a photobooth courtesy of Polka Dot Fox:

All who attended made a massive effort to look the part. You can see the results via their Facebook page here:

We'll be playing at this event again in the future so watch this space!
